The project began with free-flowing panels, large canvases layered with thousands of hand impressions. While these captured the spirit of participation, they lacked a unifying structure. Over time, the vision evolved into creating national flags from community hand impressions, giving each country its own canvas while connecting all nations into a single global portrait.

 

The free-flowing panels remain an important part of the project’s history, marking the beginning of the journey. The flag series carries that spirit forward, connecting all 193 countries into one monumental installation that will serve as a lasting testament to humanity.
